In February 2018, a new Brand was born. CUPRA, the name derived from Cup Racing, has long been associated with being the performance trim within the SEAT brand, and shares much of the same Barcelona DNA. The creation of the independent CUPRA Brand in early 2018 signalled an opportunity to move into a new space in the automotive sector, and we began an exciting journey premised on getting back to the garage and building products with sophisticated design and contemporary performance.<\/p>\n

With the launch of the Ateca, we have doubled globally our sales volume – exceeding 40,000 sales in 2019. In 2020, we launched the new CUPRA Leon family and the first new product designed exclusively for CUPRA, the Formentor crossover SUV. These incredible new products also represent our first steps into performance electric vehicles with dynamic PHeV powertrains available for the first time.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>The New Car Code provides reassurance to motorists when they\u2019re making what is likely to be one of their biggest lifetime purchases. The Code covers the manufacturers\u2019 obligations to you through advertising, warranties, availability of replacement parts and complaints handling. With all volume vehicle manufacturers on the UK market subscribing to the Code, its terms apply to over 99% of all cars sold each year.<\/p>\n
