The brand arrived in the UK in 1991 and has continued to grow ever since, becoming the eighth best-selling manufacturer in 2019 after a record year of 97,323 sales. In April 2021, Kia UK earned its highest market share to date of 4.92 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>The company offers a wide range of multi award-winning vehicles, from city cars such as the Picanto and Rio to the seven-seat Sorento SUV, while the Sportage is the brand\u2019s most popular model.<\/p>\n<p>Kia has one of the most diverse powertrain offerings available today, with the 19-strong model range including full-electric, plug-in hybrid, hybrid, mild hybrid, petrol and diesel options.<\/p>\n<p>By transforming from Kia Motors (UK) Limited to Kia UK Limited in May 2021, the company\u2019s new corporate name underlines its commitment to the long-term \u2018Plan S\u2019 business strategy that was unveiled in January 2020 and aims to establish Kia\u2019s leadership position in the future sustainable mobility space.<\/p>\n<p>This includes next-generation EVs and BEVs, such as the forthcoming EV6, mobility solutions and services and advanced purpose-built vehicles.
