The Motor Industry Code of Practice for New Cars<\/h2>\r\n \r\n

The Motor Industry Code of Practice for New Cars was the first code of practice in any industry to gain \u2018full approval\u2019 under CTSI’s Consumer Codes Approval Scheme, now known as the Approved Code Scheme (ACS).<\/p>\n

The New Car Code provides reassurance to motorists when they\u2019re making what is likely to be one of their biggest lifetime purchases.<\/p>\n

The Code covers the manufacturers\u2019 obligations to you through advertising, warranties, availability of replacement parts and complaints handling.<\/p>\n
